I'm glad that I finally made it to Queens to walk the greenroof with my daughter this spring. Since most greenroofs in the city are primarily low growing sedum I wasn't expecting so many tall drought tolerant plants.
And I really dig the new administration building's exterior. It's probably the best new architecture that Queens has seen since Philip Johnson's New York State Pavilion at the 1964 World's Fair. Too bad that little creative attention was given to the interior. Walking through the entrance you're greeted by 80's corporate boring. No life.
